How Indian Media Made A Lion out of Mice, and Led A Tiger to the Grave!

For last couple of months, I have been breaking my mind and soul upon validation of Baba Ramdev's genuineness for executing a self-less movement against corruption.

Well, it has been a few months since I started tracking his activities targeted at eradicating corruption from Indian system. Pinning a great hope on his dedication while unleashing a vendetta against corruption, I was perhaps more excited than anybody else.

However, looking at the developments that have been unfolded since he launched his massive campaign against corrupt citizens of India, I don't see any reason to feel delighted.

Because, a series of investigative analysis of his real intentions, highlighting the existence of a hidden agenda, started catching up with my own nerve center and, painfully though, I, despite being his staunch supporter in the beginning, gradually started realizing that I have been taken for a ride.

Frankly speaking, he has already been exposed to a thousand who are matured enough to analyze the developments and accept the facts, but, unfortunately, he would continue enjoying the support from a million: Who are not listening to their own belief system.

Read a brilliant analysis by Manu Joseph:

"That such a man now represents the anti-corruption movement is the worst thing that could happen to the movement and lays bare the fact that television revolutions that excite the politically impotent middleclass, which was what the Hazare farce was all about, are exaggerated momentary triumphs. The government may be scared of Ramdev and of what the media would do with his revolution, but the nervousness of elected leaders does not necessarily always mean a victory for the people."

I have no intention to hurt others' feelings towards him, but request my readers to go through a few more analysis by the best of independent journalism -- clearly pointing out, where he stands as far as corruption is concerned.

Let me share with you another article, to help you understand, how Indian media made a lion out of mice and led a tiger to the grave that he least deserved.

"BABA RAMDEV knew how to catch attention. Infamously, he also knew how to run. Swami Nigamananda didn’t know how to do either. While Ramdev was hogging national attention with emotive issues like declaring all black money stashed abroad as “national wealth” and threatening to hang the corrupt, far away from media glare, Nigamananda, 38, had been fasting for a mind-boggling 68 days for something much more concrete — and of even greater national implication. Nigamananda was fighting to save the Ganga."

In my opinion, the holy sacrifice of Swami Nigamananda, in oblivion, that went unnoticed, is a NATIONAL SHAME

Our frustration against corruption has made us so desperate to look for a viable solution, that we are blindly surrendering to every assurance without judging the intention behind.

If we can't differentiate between the right and the wrong, education has no meaning!
