Real Life or Virtual Life, Which is More Fulfilling?

Gap of a week between two posts is something a bit unusual for me. But, it has happened and still I don't feel like writing an elaborate one.

Year-end being a few days away, pressure for making a huge payment - from limited resources - to various agencies is gradually building up and there is no way I can postpone them further.

Help Them, Who Refused to Help When You Desperately Needed It!

One must project a genuine reason before expecting others to get into a transaction mode. Why this simple principle is the foundation of a successful marketing strategy, has been nicely explained in an article on Dosh Dosh

Is Success Inversely Proportional to Arrogance?

Recently, while replying to my regular business queries, one of the clients, a senior HR professional, suddenly lost control over his temper and what followed next was perhaps one of the worst conversation I had in recent time -- it was one sided though, because I kept quite except repeatedly saying sorry to him.

Random Thoughts!

1. Relationship success lies in doing something for someone, who has never received it from anyone.

2. None of us are meant to be in sync with everyone else. The biggest advantage of virtual interaction is: Cut off an uneasy relationship, instantly!

3. Despite the level of success in life, basically, we are all jokers!

4. Life is nothing but a gift, that you never share for a rift, but for making their life better, whom you love without conflict!

5. We can never stage a come back entirely on the basis of our merits, hard-work, and a bit of luck -- unless, hugely supported by a few at the crucial juncture of the turnaround!

6. The true meaning of life lies in discharging our duties towards parents, children and friends in every situation: Good, bad, or event the worst!

Draw Inspiration from Rejections

To my budding writer friends:

When I posted an article on LinkedIn, for the first time, someone commented that instead of writing blogs I must go for fishing and that comment was read by several thousand group members.

Happy People Make the Most of Everything that Comes along Their Way!

Why should we feel bad about an allegation against us if there is an element of truth in it? However, most of us do feel bad and fall into the trap of an in-built self-defense mechanism. Unfortunately, the result is unhappiness!

Recently it happened with me when one of the top management candidates, despite saying yes to an assignment in the beginning, started showing some signs of reluctance at the final stage.

Do We Make More Friends on Facebook, than in Real Life

Recently one of my facebook friends posted a question:

Why is it so easy to make a "friend" on facebook and so difficult to make one in real life? Has facebook changed the definition of friend?

And, most of the participants voted in favor.

Life is a Game that I Must Win

Holding my breathe I look at the horizon,
When is the sun marking the occasion,
of a new beginning beyond the plight of night,
Showering my life with glittering rays of light.

Travelling through a pitch dark night,
I wept but never gave up the fight,
Negotiating the twists and turns of life,
I never lost hope and remain alive.

Nothing can force me to accept a defeat,
Since I have never believed in it,
Life for me is a game that I must win,
Dissipating the dark with lots of sunshine.

Before I tell you the story, let's have a clear idea about the difference between fate and destiny which has been explained by Dr. Stephen A. Diamond, Ph.D. through an interesting post at 'Psychology Today.'

Committed Leadership: A Style that Produces the Best Results

Being an ordinary follower and having worked across the industry in divergent functions, I had the opportunity to patiently observe the management style of professionals adapting to every leadership theory formulated so far.

However, one unique trait that I noticed in all of them, is far from being a common factor in all those widely accepted and acknowledged style of leadership: Total commitment to team members without sacrificing the same for the organization.

Fear of Failure: Do Not Escape -- Fight Back!

I couldn't believe my eyes while reading about Abhijeet Mukherjee, a graduate from the Meghnad Saha College of Engineering and Technology and working at Infosys Technology Mysore, who ended his life by hanging himself.

Mukherjee, who was already under pressure for obtaining low grade in internal examination, reportedly called his parents after re-appearing in the last paper and told them that during examination he got nervous and in spite of knowing the answers he couldn't deliver the results.

How to be An Entrepreneur, While At Job

Recently I read an article where the author was talking about owning a business as passive investment.

Surprisingly, the same concept I've successfully sold out to a few full-time working investors so far, and the first venture is likely to be inaugurated soon.

Don't Just Give up on A Dysfunctional Marriage?

This is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions that many couples fail to arrive at: Is their marriage worth saving.

Yes, positivity is important for leading a normal life; so are constructive decisions, but no association can work without sincere commitments from the involved parties.
