There must be at least one decisive reason: Why everyone doesn't become successful; why everyone doesn't become rich and famous; why everyone doesn't become popular.
So, what's that reason? Well, I think, it's lack of sensitivity in relationship management!
Successful personalities are surely not the most deserving candidates in terms intelligence or other abilities, but they unquestionably are the best when it comes to managing their relationship.
They understand the importance of showing due respect to others, and practice the art of making people feel important. And they do it with utmost sincerity and genuine intention.
They also know that it take years of hard work and dedication to build-up a relationship based on mutual trust and confidence, and a few minutes to spoil it forever.
So, even in the most compelling situation, they keep their ego under control and never hurt others' feelings. They are the people who are in control of their emotion: Both external and internal.
If you wish to be successful, learn to manage your relationship to the advantage of people in the other side of the table; if you wish to be rich and famous, make others feel important; if you wish to be popular, show respects to others.
In a nutshell: Flush out the germs of insensitivity from your life ecosystem!
