Are You Too Big Now, for An Old Pal?

Well, recent financial collapse has bust the myth that an organization could be too big to fail.

Can we apply the same philosophy to an individual also?

I think we can, and for the following reasons:

1. Monetary Success, in most of the cases, is a temporary development -- unless someone is born, either super-rich as Mukesh Ambani or super-lucky as MS Dhoni.

2. The journey of life is no different than a roller-coaster drive and there is every possibility that during those inevitable lows a small favor from an old pal might turn out to be a life-changing help.

3. Living in a global village with maximum six degree of separation between two individuals and social networking revolution reducing the communication gap across the world, ignoring and hurting people well-known to us may backfire in many ways including negative feedback.

So, maintaining good relationship with all of our friends is becoming more important than ever. And, anyone with an impression that s/he is too big for an old pal -- is living in an illusion.

Hence, in my opinion, we are never too big for an old pal!
