A Tiring but Rewarding Day

It was a tiring but rewarding day with lots of learning from a senior person from corporate India, who seems to be truly fascinated by the virtues of Bhagavat Gita - Hindu scripture produced from the colloquy given by Sri Krishna to Arjuna during the Kurukshetra War -  and went on interpreting its messages in terms of the art of living and modern management practices as well.

According to him the essence of life in general, and that of work-life in particular, has already been neatly explained in Gita. One needs to carefully read, understand and refine them in the current context for successfully practicing the wisdom that Lord Krishna explained to Arjuna, the central character of Hindu epic Mahabharata.

Shamefully, I haven't yet read full version of what is being regarded as the foundation of Hinduism but promised to make it up as soon as possible.

After an intense discussion spanning over a period of more than 2 hours, we drew the curtain promising to continue whenever we meet the next time.

Well, the purpose of my visit was also fulfilled, with he agreeing to enter into a business association with my company, and I left the place with a sense of accomplishment: Both materialistic and spiritualistic!
