Recruiters: Fishing from the Same Ponds!

With the advent and epidemic spread of job portals, the business of Executive Search in Contingency vertical has now boiled down to a set of Recruiters fishing candidates from the same ponds.

The only difference from real life fishing, in this case, is, that most of the fishes are very smart and they would invariably respond very positively to every fisherman, never sharing if another fisherman has already contacted them for the same buyer, inspiring him to submit their details to prospective buyers.

Buyers, having received the same details from more than a dozen fisherman, have no option but give credit to the fastest supplier, even if he has not taken due permission from the shortlisted fishes regarding their choice of extinction.

Well, with contingency recruitment almost becoming similar to blind fishing, it has become everyone's game where, more than domain expertise, what matters is recruiter's capability to gain access to a few crowded ponds and keep fishing - blindly - and delivering as fast as possible.

It's a unique example of: Speed killing Quality!

And buyers, under tremendous pressure to offer apparently delightful dishes to their internal customers, are desperately sharing their requirements with as many fisherman as they can, however, without realizing the fact that healthy fishes prefer to remain in the rivers or ocean -- where, very few fisherman dare go for hunting.
