Make Others Feel Comfortable!

Today, during a meeting with the Director HR of a highly reputed MNC, when I tried to grab the business from another firm which has been enjoying the MFR (Most Favored Recruiter) status for a long time, he cut me short by saying that his comfort level with them in terms of performance is unquestionably reliable.

Elaborating further, what has impressed him most, the Director said that they even surf through personal life of the candidates, including the details of family members, to establish an emotional attachment with them.

The reflection of their initiatives, as clearly evident on the face of HR Director, is a clear indication of the impact that they could make through their relationship development skill: both with the candidates and the clients.

This story, and a true story, clearly indicates that whether in business or in personal life, the success in developing and maintaining long term relationships entirely depends upon our ability to make others feel comfortable.

If you have the ability to practice and live it, you would go far ahead of others in life; if not, you would remain the part of an ever increasing lot of frustrated professionals who keep blaming others for their own failure.

It means, if you know how to make others feel comfortable through genuine care and dedicated performance, your journey toward achieving the impossible in life would become a little easier.
