Commitment, Once Made, Must be Honored!

"The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor." - Vince Lombardi

Changing stand has become as usual as changing clothes: a regular routine job.

Momentary compulsion for achieving better results, and ahead of others, destroys one of the most important basic human values: commitment!

When it becomes a habit and people get addicted to achieving net results at any cost - by changing stands, every now and then - it erodes one's credibility beyond repair, and an irreversible downfall begins.

Before taking a stand, think hundred times; once you take a stand, never dishonor it. Make a commitment, if you have enough mental strength to endure it through all weathers -- otherwise, don't.

Look back and assess, how many times you changed your stand. If you did it frequently, apply some corrective measures immediately. Never forget, that the commitment once made, must be honored at any cost.

“Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans.” Peter F. Drucker.
